Mitch Allner
Head Coach
Mitch Allner, from Sioux City, Iowa, kicksoff his fourth season as the Tulsa Talons Head Coach. Allner coached for the Talons' as an Offensive Coordinator in both the 05 and 06 seasons. Allner was the first Head Coach in the af2 to have played and coached for an ArenaCup Championship. In 2007, he led the Talons to their second ArenaCup Championship title.

Allner served five years in the af2 as a top-ranked player. In five years, Allner played a year with the Quad City Steamwheelers and Iowa Barnstormers and then three years with the Tulsa Talons. Prior to the 2005 season, he held three records in the 2004 season game highs, six career records as a Talons, four records in a single season and two records in a single game. In the 2005 af2 record book, Allner was the All-Time af2 Leading Scorer, All-Time af2 First Team OS in 2002, Offensive Player of the Year in 2002, Week 6 Offensive Player of the Week for the league in 2002 and the National Conference All-af2 Second Team WR/LB in 2003.

As a coach, Allner was the varsity Assistant and sophomore Head Coach for two years at Sioux City North High School. Once in Tulsa, Allner was the varsity receiver's coach at Catoosa High School for one year and the varisty Receiver's Coach for two years at Jenks High School. 

Allner resides in Jenks, Okla. with his wife, Brandy, and their Shih-Tzu, Elly.
